The very first painting I ever sold came from a man who lived down the road from me. I had never met him before, but when he ordered a painting (via facebook) I was very excited to see he was a neighbour! Talk about supporting local! He asked for a cartoon portrait of the family’s puppy as a Christmas gift for his young daughter. After I posted the final product I was surprised (and a little pleased, I’ll be honest) to have a lot of positive support and more requests for pet portraits cartoon style! Apparently it must be some untapped market! These paintings take longer than the others I offer, as it’s more difficult to make a puppy look as close as possible to the photo provided, therefore these are the most expensive item I make ($40-$60), but if this is something you are interested in, email me at jillrahhali@gmail.com.
